Who we are
Tailored Tool is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Massachusetts, USA ("we," "us"). This policy describes how we handle information when you use tailoredtool.com (the "Site").
Information we collect
- Contact form. When you use the contact form, you provide your name, business name, email address, and project details. The form opens a message in your own email app addressed to us — nothing is stored on our servers. If you send the email, we receive it in our inbox like any other email.
- Live demo. When you type into the "See what we'd build for you" demo, the text you enter is sent to Anthropic, PBC (the AI provider that powers the demo) to generate a response. Do not enter personal, sensitive, or confidential information into the demo. Anthropic's handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
- Automatic data. Our hosting provider may log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and operational purposes, as virtually all web hosts do.
What we don't do
- We do not set advertising or tracking cookies.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. This Site is intended for business use by adults.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us solely to respond to your inquiry, discuss potential projects, and provide our services. That's it.
Data retention and security
Emails you send us are retained in our email account for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting business relationship. We take reasonable measures to protect information in our possession, consistent with Massachusetts data security requirements (201 CMR 17.00), but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your rights
You may request that we delete correspondence containing your personal information by emailing hello@tailoredtool.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (such as the right to access or correct your data) — contact us and we'll honor reasonable requests.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes (like adding analytics or advertising tools) will be reflected here before they take effect.

By using this Site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
The live demo is a demonstration
- The AI demo on our homepage generates illustrative suggestions only. Its output is not a quote, proposal, contract, or professional advice, and does not obligate us to build anything described.
- AI-generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete. Don't rely on demo output for business, legal, or financial decisions.
- Don't use the demo for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive, and don't attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Site.
Services and engagements
Any actual project between you and Tailored Tool will be governed by a separate written agreement (covering scope, price, timeline, and ownership). Nothing on this Site constitutes a binding offer. Prices shown are indicative ranges; final pricing is set per project before work begins.
Intellectual property
The Site's design, text, and logo are owned by Tailored Tool. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. Ownership of custom-built client systems is defined in each client's project agreement.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site and demo are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tailored Tool will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or demo. Our total liability related to use of the Site will not exceed $100.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
